Positivity: sometimes it’s the hardest attitude in the world.
In situations where you feel like even your best friends can’t be your support system, it is the most important thing in the world to stay positive.
Having a good attitude may seem impossible at times, but trust me. Everything happens for a reason, and in times of disparity where you lose all hope and want to curl up in a ball and cry for the rest of the night? Don’t.
I’m not saying don’t call your mom and have a good cry, because that is some pretty darn good medicine. You should tell your best friend what’s happening, call your sister, let it out, but don’t have a pity party for yourself. I am a big believer in holding your head up high and moving forward; there is always a larger plan at work, and whether you believe it or not, it will all be laid out in the end.
Positivity shows immense strength and good character. And trust me, once the world sees you feeling and acting in a positive way, they won’t be able to ignore it. A smile is contagious, an attitude infective, and there is nothing better than passing that along.
