Finals week begins tomorrow at 8 am sharp and here I am, sitting outside, staring at the lake instead of at my notecards.
Somehow, the weather jumped from 55 degrees to 70 degrees in two days and now I cannot focus on anything but the warm sunshine and cool breeze. I guess that’s the one downfall to school on the lake: the distraction and temptation to be away from studies is ever present and always strong.
So, while I sip my first weather-appropriate iced coffee and soak in a little Vitamin D, I’ll send luck for those with finals, hope for nervous graduates, and prayers for anyone traveling home.
I hope your start to summer is just as sweet as mine.
