Dinner at Sketch was good, afternoon tea at Sketch was indescribable.
We hopped our way into the restaurant!
The inside of the teacups. The tableware is just as good at tea as it was at dinner!
The champagne cart and sketches on the wall.
The full afternoon tea. Once we arrived we were pleasantly surprised that we were able to get refills on anything and everything on the tier. This goes above and beyond the forty pound price tag, and you will find yourself pleasantly full by the end.
The tea menu! Our scones are in the background. They came a little later than the rest of the food because they came hot from the oven. Served with clotted cream and two kinds of jam: strawberry and fig.
We each had two pots of tea. I had the silver needle and the ceylon & rose. Jack had the japan sencha and the whole rose bud herbal infusion. All four were delicious and I highly recommend any of these!
The bathrooms during the day are vastly different from the bathrooms at night! Brightly lit with a dance floor on the ceiling they were a treat to walk in to!
To top it off, a little swing in the birdcage outside of St. Pancras International.
Happy end of Valenfives!
