Budapest was the Buda(b)est

Last weekend I spent my time in Budapest, Hungary!

I think all three of us fell in love with the city. It was beautiful, comfortable, and such a great time!

On our first night we went to the most popular ruin bar and we were not disappointed. It was huge and so much fun! There are multiple bars throughout, so as you walk you can finish your drink and pick another one up.

The Szechenyi Baths.

HIGHLY recommended. This was such a relaxing day! Definitely go for the cabin ticket. It gives you a private place to change and has plenty of room for multiple person’s clothing and bags.

Dinner later on! There’s a tent full of street food near the first ruin pub we went to and it has everything you could ever want. Zing burgers was great, and we all had a crepe afterward that was also delicious!

Chimney cakes that were on a “must-do in Budapest” list. Now we know why! We had something similar in Prague, but this stand had multiple flavors and were all freshly made. I really liked the vanilla, which is just the plain chimney cake. However, I think there is already vanilla and sweetener in the dough because anything more would’ve been too much!

The biggestΒ bubbles ever.

On our final night we went to a “sparty” (spa party) at the Lukacs Baths on the Buda side of Budapest! It was such a blast. The DJ left much to be desired, but it didn’t stop us from having the best time!

Have you been to Budapest? Are you going? Questions/Comments/Concerns?
