Borough Market Saturdays

I have lived in London since January and have yet to go to Borough Market until today!

Cardinal sin, but after my lengthy run through I think I can be forgiven.

I assumed the market would be packed, as is everything in London on a Saturday, but we went for brunch (around 10AM and left around 12PM) and it only began to get very busy on the tail end of our trip!

The BEST cheese toastie. Unfortunately we did not get the potatoes, but will definitely be back to sample!

Those cheese wedges in the background? The top is melted and shaved off onto the potatoes. Closer up you can see untoasted sandwiches!

Look at that perfectly melted and gooey string of cheese. Just bask in it.

After desperatly searching for Goodbeans for some cold brew (and finding out they are there only on Wednesdays and Thursdays) I settled on Flat Cap Coffee for a flat white and was not disappointed!

What is brunch without a little Prosecco?

A duck confit sandwich on ciabatta bread. If I were to go back I would get it on the brioche as the ciabatta was a little hard to bite into, but the duck confit itself was delicious.

If you’re in London you must head to Borough Market. It’s right by the City of London and afterwards you can take a few shots of the shard and the tower!
